Our Green Space
The landscape of Beaver Creek Housing Cooperative (BCHC) is very pleasing to the eye — that is, once you get used to a less manicured and more nature-friendly aesthetic.
Our lawns and gardens are designed to play host to the indigenous plants and wildlife of Southern Ontario. As such, we work to maintain an environmentally friendly and sustainable eco-system, free from pesticides, and welcoming to our furry and fluffy friends.

Maintaining Our Shared Resources
Our outdoor environment is managed by the Landscape Committee and supported by resource people.
Each member contributes during our community Work Days, which are held twice a year, once in the Spring and once in the Fall. Members also participate in the Winter Exercise Program by removing snow from designated areas.
Volunteers help clean our community centre, and maintain our lending library and Mother Hubbard's Cupboard.
